#SOTU2014: Visualizing the State of the Union

State of the UnionJust a quick post to highlight this interactive I got to work on with Nicolas Belmonte on the Twitter visual insights team. The idea is that you can use it to navigate around the speech and see the instant reaction on Twitter to each part of it — themed by geography and subject.

Pro tip: When you scroll through the speech, it changes the url at the top of the interactive: that means you can share your key paragraph with the world.

Here’s the official post on it.
